Tim is a printmaker specialising in wood engravings. His studio/gallery, Ballagh Studio, is shared with his partner, Pastel artist Ros Harvey. Here Tim has a huge range of engravings, woodcuts and books on the themes of Irish myths, together with Fairy stories, Hobbie horses, Rara Avis and other quirky subjects.
Stephen always had a fascination with wood when he was young, but it wasn’t until he started collecting drift wood on walks along the shore of his local town and creating random things from what was found that his passion grew. This lead him to look more into woodworking, and then decided on trying wood-turning after seeing a few videos on youtube.
